As you probably realize this web site is designed to look at the positive side of life to help others stay upbeat and positve, not because we don't understand the real world, but we believe that there's too much negative focus in the world.

I recall over hearing a telephone conversation that a colleague in our customer support department was having with an irate customer:

The customer was complaining that there must be something wrong with our fax machine as his fax would send to us. After checking the machine my colleague explained that all was well. The customer requested that my colleague read out the fax number again. which he did. The customer confirmed that this was the number that he had been dialing without success. As my collegue once again started to read out the number for final confirmation, he got half way through and stopped, went very red through embarrassment and sheepishly anounced. "ah, this is my fault, I've been giving you our vat number"

IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED

A man bought a new fridge and decided to give his old one away, so he stood it on his fron lawn with a sign saying 'free to a good home'

The fridge stayed there for a 3 days without anyone taking it.

So he put up a new sign saying 'Fridge for sale £50'

Withing Half an hour, it was stolen.
