If you want to loose weight or just improve your diet, there are many programs that will show you how, and we'll provide some links to those that we believe are useful, but the simple   key is not to focus on what you can't eat, but to focus on eating more of the right foods ... whole fruits and vegetables, naturally raised lean meats and poultry, wild fish, eggs, fresh herbs, nuts, berries, and seeds.

We're told that we should all eat breakfast every morning, followed by another four or five snacks during the day. Snacks of the right type of course. Eating small meals frequently help balance your blood sugar, reducing the food cravings and giving you a clearer mind

Don't be tempted to visit the local sweet shop and buy chocolate as one of your snacks, this will increase the blood sugar rapidly and give you a temporary 'high', followed by a 'low', and of course the sugar will be converted to Fat.

To loose fat, you must make your body into a fat-burning machine, by limiting the foods that convert rapidly to sugar. Without the excess glucose in your system, your body will create energy by breaking down fat instead of burning sugar

This one simple change can produce effortless weight loss and a dramatic improvement in your energy, your mood, and your health.

 

Exercise

Without regular   exercise   our bodies   quickly begin to deteriorate. So, choose exercises that you enjoy, and commit to do some kind of exercise every single day - even if it is just a walk for 30 minutes after the evening meal. Be careful though not to work out too close to your bed time, else you'll find your body wide awake and not able to sleep.

If you want to loose weight as well as   improving your health,   increase the intensity of your exercise more than the duration.

Exercise at 70% - 80% of your maximum effort for a couple of minutes. Then, while you continue to move, decrease your effort for a few minutes. After a short While (don't stop moving), raise the intensity again for a couple of minutes. Do this for say 10 times and you will have had a pleasant work out in less than 30 minutes  

If you want to improve you muscular appearance, strength training is important. By doing some resistance training your muscles and bones will increase in strength and your metabolism should be increased - enabling your body to burn fat quicker.

It doesn't matter how old you are, or how unfit you might feel, you can improve upon your level of fitness and health by sensible diet and exercise. You will be amazed at how quickly your head will feel clearer, how much more awake your body will feel, and how much more energy you will have.
